Rainforest Explorers!

On Wednesday Year 3 had a fantastic time visiting London Zoo as an introduction to our Rainforests topic.  During a Rainforest Explorers workshop we found out about the rainforest climate and some of the adaptations rainforest creatures have to help them be successful in their environment.  We then found a range of species in the rainforest exhibit and met Lola the Madagascan Hissing Cockroach up close.

We were very lucky with the weather and enjoyed lunch on the lawn as well as visiting lots of the zoos other residents.

Yet another term has flown past with lots of hard working and enjoyable days.

This week has involved some assessments, lots of finishing off and wonderful times as a school during our fundraising afternoon for the Children's Society, end of term Mass and Easter Egg Raffle!

 We had lots of fun testing out some social  skills games created by members of Year 3.

We are also very proud of our fundraising efforts throughout Lent.
