Cuffley Camp

Year 3 had a fantastic day at Cuffley Camp!

In the morning we began with an orienteering activity and discovered what initially looked to be a simple activity was more complex than we thought!

After lunch we began by trying our hand at a range of circus activities including diablo, devil sticks and stilts. Everyone had a wonderful time learning new skills and performing for the rest of the class.

Our last activity was the assault course where we swung, climbed, slithered, balanced and jumped our way round.

Despite a non-stop day, Year 3 still had plenty of energy left to sing their way back to the coach and most of the way back to school!

Fantastic Fruit Tasting!

Year 3 joined Year 6 on Friday to learn about and try some unusual fruit.

They learned about food miles, discovering the grapes they were eating had travelled over 7000 miles while the strawberries had barely travelled 50 miles!

The children were all very adventurous with most trying all the fruit on offer. Dragon fruit and star fruit were very popular.

- Apologies to parents who have since received a shopping wish-list of exotic fruit!
