What a Week!

At the end of a very busy week beginning with our dress rehearsal for the school, followed by two nights of wonderful performances, then a day of sports at the St Albans Olympic Legacy day and ending with a lovely Thanksgiving Mass, Year 3 have shown again what a brilliant group they are and should be very proud of themselves.

On Monday everyone was very excited to put on costumes for the fires time and treated Recepetion, Year 2 and 5 to a fabulous rendition of 'Time Lord'! The light-sabres and smoke machine were a particular hit!

The performances went even better with added lights!

At the end of the second night everyone was exhausted

... But there was no rest...
because Thursday meant Olympic Legacy Day!
So Year 3 ran, jumped and threw their way through Thursday. We even won a few medals, met the mayor and a lucky few even met Olympic medallists Rebecca Addlington and Steve Parry!

And to end the week we enjoyed our Thanksgiving Mass (photos to follow)where the children read and sang beautifully and we enjoyed a party afternoon to celebrate.

Thanks to all parents who provided play costumes, helped with make-up for the play, came with us to Westminster Lodge and brought in food for our picnic on Friday.

A frantic and fantastic week!
